Unwanted WiFi Networks

I noticed that there are four networks listed on my Mac that are password protected and I have no idea what or who they are. How can I delete them? I googled them I only found out something about one of them. One of them is a Charter network. Not sure why it is showing up because I do not use them for the Internet.

when you click on wi - fi icon on top right side may bar , you will see neighbors wi fi network name that is having lock in front of them as they are encrypted so leave them .

A second thought when you open system preferences > open the pad lock by entering admin password if they are shown in white column shown with red arrow select them and click on minus sign .

And why it is showing because your settings are incorrect , & we can configure once again the network settings in a very secured way .

to avoid having you Mac evaluate those networks or consider trying to use them, use this two-step process.

check the box and it will no longer consider new networks.

then use this step:

select any networks on the list you do not wish to consider joining, and click the [-] icon to remove them from consideration. You may already have no stray networks, and that is fine.
