game centre log in

Hi chaps,

Wonder if any of you could help me at all...

I've had a couple of issues and tried to post a couple of threads on the Forums for WWE Supercard - but haven't had much joy, hopefully you can help me.

I can log in to my account on the iPad through GameCentre - but it's just not working through the iPhone. It connects to the Game Centre as I get the banner to tell me that i'm connected, but once loaded up the game asks me to connect....but it won't connect at all.

I've tried uninstalling, restarting and deleting on both systems - but nothing works. It'll always load perfectly on the iPad, but won't have it on the iPhone.

I've been playing this game since day one - so it's quite frustrating to only be able to fight my wife for the iPad! If you could help I would really appreciate it.

Do you login via the settings panel? With iOS10 the individual game center app went away, but the service can still be accessed via the settings. However for folks running older devices and iOS9 or below, they will still have the app but it doesn't function as well since, it seems, in removing it for iOS10 some of the behind the scenes support seems to also be gone.

Unfortunately you may just be stuck. It seems that, in removing the app, Apple removed some of hte background support for the service itself. Such as leaderboards, etc.

And this affects people whether they are on iOS 10 or lower.


Meaning it may be out of your hands. Or it may randomly fix itself.


As far as I've read you're not the only player affected, others have had issues as well.


Supposedly, in the future, friending is to be handed over to individual game developers to use iMessage but none of hte games I play have implemented anything and, from my perspective, the change over seems to be rather scattered and random...which is why I suggest that background support has been changed, which may be the root of your issue.


Have you tried to reach out to tech support for your game? Not just on their forum but opening a trouble ticket with them?
