speakers for phone calls - hearing impaired

I have an Altec Lansing Mini Lifejacket 2 that I purchased for listening to music when I travel, but I have found that it works very well as an external speaker for telephone calls. It connects via Bluetooth.

The volume and sound reproduction is very good.

JBL makes some similar BT speakers (some with microphones) that could be used for hand-free calling. There are lots of BT speakers...the trick is finding one with a built-in mic.

The iPhone seems to be smart enough to know when the external speaker does not have a microphone and uses the onboard microphone.
