uploading photos to ebay

I use my iPhone and iMac to list items on eBay. When I take photos they appear on my photo stream and also on my photo library on my iMac..when I go to upload them to my listing they are not there..only previous photos..my workaround is to re start my iMac and go back to the listing and they appear..am I just not waiting long enough for them to appear or something else? You would think if the photos are on my iMac they should be available to upload..shouldn't have to re start ..any help would save me lots of time

I think it might be much easier if we take a step back and for you to explain what you are attempting to accomplish.

I get that you want to post photos to a new E-Bay add. What I don't know is how you are taking your pictures and where they reside. My flow when I post to E-Bay.

  1. Take picture with iPhone
  2. Email picture to myself
  3. Open email on iMac
  4. Save picture on iMac desktop
  5. repeat steps 1-4 for other pictures
  6. Then when I'm in the E-Bay add I browse to my desktop and select the photos for my E-Bay add.

I'm not trying to export and save photos on my mac Every time I list an item.photos taken from my iPhone get pushed to iPhoto but there's a lag...when I go to upload photos to my eBay listings, I go to media then photos..all my photos are in my iPhoto library except most recent..only when I re start the Mac the most recent appear when trying to upload via eBay..
