pairing plantronics voyager edge with iphone 7

In case you haven't managed to get it paired or if anyone else is looking for an answer to this question here is something you can try:

Plantronics headsets need to be placed in pairing mode manually after being paired for the first time. To place the Voyager Edge in pairing mode you will need to power it on, and then press and hold the call control button for ~7 seconds until the LED alternates red/blue. You can also press the mute/voice command button once and then say "pairing" or "pair mode" after your headset prompts you to say a command.

In case your iPhone is not finding your headset even while in pairing mode you might want to try restarting your iPhone or resetting it's network settings as a last step.

My old Plantronics needs to have its power turned off and then back on when the iPhone is trying to discover (pair) it.

Try installing PLT hub app and then try and confirm pairing. Mine worked out well.
