iPhone 7 using large amounts of data.

My iPhone 7 seems to be using huge amounts of data! Last month alone it used 30gb and this month I am 4 days into my billing month and have already used 5gb (I was out of town for 2 of those and did not have any service).

You can go to Settings > Cellular. Then scroll down to see which apps are authorized to use cellular data. It will also show how much data they have used since the last reset.

If you reset your cellular data (scroll all the way to the bottom and click Reset Statistics), to coincide with the start of your billing period, you can monitor which apps are consuming your cellular data and possibly disable that app from using cellular data.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
