iCloud Family Share Sync with Google

Hello Hive Mind,

I set up iCloud family share to simplify the process of managing our family's calendar & love the way it works. One issue we have, however, is that my parents use Google calendars and use them to know what we are doing and when our kids have events etc. We have a mac calendar set up as "public" that we can share with them, but the iCloud "Family" calendar doesn't have that option and doesn't offer the information Google would need to sync with it. I'd like to continue using Family sharing, but the inability to share/sync with Google is a big enough drawback that I won't.

Is there a way to either mirror the Family calendar to the public Mac calendar we're already sharing (automatically duplicate it on an ongoing basis), or share the Family calendar itself to Google? Or are there other options I haven't considered like a script or automator action that might do it?
