Why does icloud extension for firefox work in firefox 50 on one computer but cannot be installed on another

I have been using firefox on a laptop with windows 10. I have icloud bookmarks extension on that computer and it has been working flawlessly with firefox after each firefox update including firefox 50. I purchased another computer running windows ten but now when I go to install icloud bookmarks extension on that computer I get an error stating that the icloud extension is not compatible with firefox 50. Is there a workaround to manually install from my laptop to the new computer??

Thank you for your help.

Thank you. That does explain it. On my surface book which is a newer computer firefox is installed in the Programs Files (x86) whereas on my new Dell desktop it is installed in the 64 bit Program files folder. UGH. I am not sure why or how that happened. I hope Apple gets up to date and creates a new bookmarks extension for the up to date firefox. Appreciate your help.
