PreSonus Firestudio project interface

I have two Firestudio units that have worked fine up to the very last version of Sierra. I did a clean re-install of Sierra and installed the latest UC and the units just flash blue and red, never connecting. Apple clearly changed something in the last release that broke the FS configuration. I went back to a clean install of Yosemite and all is well again. I will upgrade to El Capitan to get current with Logic but I won't go back to Sierra for my studio until this gets solved. I contacted Presonus and they said I contact Apple, boot in safe mode, etc... They don't know what broke either at this point. Too bad. I hate to be too far out of step with Apple OS's because it may mean I'l be left behind by Logic upgrades.

I only upgrade Logic application or the operating system if there's a feature I absolutely need, I'd rather have stability and efficiency than the latest and greatest. The downside is if you're way out of date (as I am) you can't take projects started on newer versions.

Did you check on the Presonus site or forums that your device is compatible wirh Sierra?

What does iOS have to do with your computer and the Presonus Firewire interface. Did you mean Mac OS Sierra?
