Apple Pay cannot be used when automatic login is enabled

I am having the same issue that pumpkinpie2 is having. When getting the notification "Apple Pay cannot be used when automatic login is enabled" in System Preferences (for both Touch ID setup & Apple Pay setup) The prompt is to open Security and Privacy in which there is not an option to turn off automatic login available. If I navigate away from those preferences into Users & Groups, Login Options, there is not a resolution either which is to be expected because I wasn't prompted to enter User & Group preferences in the first place. If my problem is the same a pumpkinpie2, then we are both being prompted to change a setting in a preferences page where that setting is not available. Hearing from anyone reading this thread that might have an answer to the problem stated would be greatly appreciated!

To be able to set up Apple Pay on your new MacBook Pro, first turn off Automatic Login by following the steps here:

Then follow the steps here to set up Apple Pay:
