i cant play the imessage games on ios 10

Both my brother and I share the same Apple ID, along with my moms iPad and my iPad. My brother updated his iphone(6s) when iOS 10 came out. I, however, just updated my iPhone(6s) to iOS 10 3 months later. My brother is able to play the game pigeon games on imessage with people, but I can't. There is only one person I am able to play with. I have tried with over 5 different people many times. I have restarted my phone many times. I'm able to start a game, but when my friends play and start a game or it's my turn, the game comes up as an image and won't let me play. Do I need to change my Apple ID? If so, will it wipe out all my pictures, notes, music, etc?

I’m not sure if my fix will help you, my 8ball pool iMessage game would not load. I had to delete all my conversations in messenger and also delete 8ball pool and reinstall. I hope this helps!

I have tried restarting my phone, deleting and installing game pigeon over and over again, and stopped iCloud syncing and it is still not working! My phone is updated to iOS 10.2.1 and it won't let me update it!

I have this weird glitch where i cant send games anymore but the game is installed and when somebody send me something and i click it it redirects me to the app store to download game pigeon but it says that its already installed

I also can't play, I just updated my phone & I send my friends the pigeon games, & when they send me one back it comes out as a picture, & I can't play, I regret updating this, it's really disappointing.

If you are syncing with iCloud, turn off iCloud syncing, and ensure the data is on your phone. If you aren't syncing, the data should stay there. Sign out of iCloud. Create your own ID and sign back in.

Is this the only way? My daughter's iPod is on my iCloud for security reasons on the family share. I don't want to create her own Apple ID because then I can't approve game requests and the like. :/

In order to play any of the gamepigeon games you and the player must be both on iMessage
