macbook charger won't fit??

So I have a 2016 Macbook that I've only had for about six months. Tonight I tried to plug it in before bed but the charger wouldn't fit, which was weird because I was charging it fine just a few hours ago, so I'm not sure what happened. I looked in the port and there looked like some tiny rock or debris of some sort, but I got it out with a paperclip. My charger still won't fit in the port, but I don't see anything else in it. My actual laptop is working fine, but its finals week so I really need a charged laptop. I don't think it's an issue with my charger but who knows.
