Mac Pro Early 2009 Crashing!!!

Hi,

My Mac Pro Early 2009 (running 10.11.6 with a 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel, 24 GB of Memory, and ATI Radeon 512 MB graphics card) has been freezing and crashing for the past two days. When it does crash, it does not restart and only the noise of the fans running. Those times, I have to hold down the power button to force it to shut off. I tried booting into safe mode and recovery mode but those froze as well. When I got into safe mode successfully, it still crashed. It seems like this is a hardware issue since both my SSD and HDD crashed when I tried booting them. I want to perform a AHT but cannot get my flash drive to flag as bootable (Only way I can get it on my Mac). The powermanagment and google software update are things that are suspects. Can someone determine what is wrong with my Mac and what I can do to fix it? Eventually it was able to restart on its own when it crashed, and I was able to get a Kernel Panic report as follows:

A few minutes ago my computer could not come out of sleep. The power light was blinking and the Radeon Graphics was spinning fast. If I read the diagnostic leds correctly, the SYS PG was green, the 5V STBY was yellow, and PSU PWROK was green. I could not find out what those diagnostics led colors meant and and hoping for some input on what those colors mean and how it might relate to my issue.

"TLB invalidation IPI timeout" is a multiple-processor cooperation problem (possibly including the GPU as a Processor). You have not added any kernel extensions that are known "Bad Actors", but have an additional panic report stored into the middle of the initial report you posted.

If you have an Apple-owned store with a genius Bar available, your appointment for an evaluation (and to run their diagnostics) is free, in warranty or out.

--------

If you have another Mac, you could try removing the graphics card and seeing whether you could get into the troublesome Mac using Terminal ssh over your network.

I'm going to take the computer in to the apple Genius Bar this weekend. The crashes have appeared to stopped for now but on a side note when I'm trying to partition a backup drive on my computer, it is taking forever. It has taking over two hours for it to get to the resizing part. It is still going but looks like it is almost done. Is this normal for a 3 TB drive that is almost full?

I was not able to go to the Apple Genius Bar this weekend, but the computer continues to crash.
