Calendar shows wrong dates

The Calendar app on my iPhone sometimes shows the wrong date (see screen shot; February 2017 doesn't start on Thursday nor has 31 days). Anything I can do to fix? I'm up to date with iOS 10.1.1.

I had an iPhone 5 and dates and month names were wrong. I bought an iPhone 7 and it's updated to 10.1.1 and the dates are correct compared to your screen shot. Makes no sense how a calendar can be wrong

Yes, causing much loss of faith in Apple products. Didn't they used to "just work"? Googling around, I saw another poster associate his calendar problem with days that had two events for the same day, as I show. I wonder if that's the key to the problem here. Would appreciate hearing from others to help narrow down what's causing the problem before I head off to the Genius Bar in the next several days.
