Bootcamp windows 10 no audio output device is installed

(sorry for grammar and spelling its 2am here can't be bothered

before i start i know this is already a discussion but there were no answers so i wanted to make a new one and my problem is a little different i think

so i installed the windows 10 boot disk and restarted my computer and held down alt and tried to load windows 10 but it wouldn't work because it was in the GPT fromat so i installed it using the EFI boot and that worked perfectly installed all the drivers everything works!... except sound it says on the sound icon "No audio output device is installed" and i've tried a lot of stuff from realtek audio drivers to all sorts of audio drivers none are working and i'd prefer not to half to re-install

in my device manager it has this (no sound tab just this)User uploaded file

when i click on it and try install, re-install etc it says "this device cannot start"

Will respond in the morning as its 2Am here been trying to get this to work for 3 days now please help Also not entierly sure of my macs os because i've been on the windows all the time if you really need it tell me and i'll find out pretty sure its maverick though

What is the version of OS X? Remove the current installation of W10 using BC Assistant only. Re-run BC Assistant and stop when you get the GPT vs MBR error and post back here. I can provide the steps in GPT Fdisk to correct the error.

You will need to download GPT Fdisk - https://sourceforge.net/projects/gptfdisk/ - to correct the error.

On my 13-in 2012 MBP using legacy BIOS, I have Cirrus Audio devices as shown...

1. Remove W10 using BC Assistant.

2. Re-run BCA and use the last option - 'Install...', since you already have the USB Installer built.

3. Let it boot from the USB. Select Windows if you use Alt/Option.

4. After you get the MBR vs GPT error, switch to OS X and run GPT Fdisk (gdisk) and see the second set of Gdisk steps in Re: El Capitan has deleted my bootcamp windows partition as a reference.

5. Once you have the MBR recreated, repeat step 2.

On a standard Mac, you should have EFI, OS X and Recovery HD. BC Assistant will create a fourth entry, which is the limit for a legacy BIOS overlay. Here is an example....

diskutil list

/dev/disk0 (internal, physical):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: GUID_partition_scheme *512.1 GB disk0

1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk0s1

3: Apple_Boot Recovery HD 650.0 MB disk0s3

4: Microsoft Basic Data BOOTCAMP 131.0 GB disk0s4

sudo fdisk /dev/disk0

Password:

Disk: /dev/disk0 geometry: 62260/255/63 [1000215216 sectors]
