Work photos and personal photos

I am an Instructional Tech Specialist with my school. I am constantly taking photos and videos on my iPhone, iPad and some time iPad Pro. I don't currently use iCloud because I would like to keep all my work photos and videos separate. I would like to Sync to iCloud because it would make my life so much easier.

Any suggestions on how to do this?

Using Photos, create a work album(s) and a personal album(s) so you could view what you wanted. The photos would remain mixed in all photos though.

Thank you, that may be the way to do it. Then I can upload the media to the Distirct's Google drive at the end of the year and be done with it.

Do you know if photos library is depended on the old iPhoto's library? It appears it's left over after I updated. It would be nice to delete the extra 30gigs of space.

You are welcome. As far as I know, there is no need to save the iPhoto Library. Check the size of the Photos Library to see if they are the same. Because you seem to need photos for your job, just to be safe, I'd copy the iPhoto Library to another location, such as an external drive, and then delete the one on the internal drive. Use Photos for a couple of days and if all is well, delete the iPhoto Library. Probably overkill, but it leaves you with a backup.
