Hi,

What is trying to install ?

Is it something that you think was installed that keeps coming back ?

In Applications/Utilities and open Activity Monitor and see if you can see an Installer running.

It is unlikely to tell you which app it is trying to install but you may be able to use the icons top left to Quit the Installer if you think it should not be running.

Hi,

In Finder window use th Go Menu whilst holding down the ALT key.
Select the Library that shows up.

You will then be able to navigate to the Application Support folder.

I don't have a folder called "products" or the app that your path says it contains.

The access to the "Contents" bit is by right clicking and then selecting "Show Package Contents"

This will show you where the item is.

stedman1's info will help remove it.

Hi,

In the Hard Drive icon you can then select Users.

In Users are all the Users that are on your computer - one will have the Little House icon denoting it is the Logged in Account.

If you Open this Folder you will find the Library in there is not visible.

If you now go to the Go Menu at the top you will see most of the Folders inside the User's Folder listed (Documents, Pictures and the like).

If you notice in this picture shows downloads with a different keystroke and the beginning.

(My Library shows as I have tweaked my computer so that it does)

This is the ALT key and is two away from the space bar at each end.

Using this key whilst the Menu is open will show the Library.

This Library is hidden. It normally written as ~/Library

You can also use the Go Menu > Go to Folder and enter this in the Dialogue box that appears.

In the View Menu of the Finder you can also Show the Path Bar.

This will show you are in the right folder.

This is Application Support and there in no "products" folder on my system in this location.

Ok,

Using the Finder > Go Menu > Go to Folder

You can enter the path in the Dialogue box.

Also with a Finder window open go to the View Menu > Show View Options

In the Go Menu select somewhere like Documents that is in the User's Folder

With the Path Bar Showing double click the Little House icon so that you are then back in the Library. (don't click the name)

Now back in the View Menu the Show panel should have an extra item at the lowest box you can tick.

You can Choose to Show the Library.

no there is nothing trying to install. I did a problem report and it is

Path: /Users/USER/Library/Application Support/products/products.app/Contents/MacOS/Installer

Identifier: com.fuzeday.Installer

I have no idea what this is, where it is, or how to get rid of it. I have read in the discussions that it is malware associated with adobe flash

Keep getting Installer quit unexpectedly pop up.
