Strange Question Marks on Login Screen

I was wondering if anyone else has seen this happen or know what's going on. I went to lock my computer and saw these weird question marks in place of the text on the login screen.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Sierra (10.12.1)

Hi Charger15,

Thank you for the question and providing the screen shot of your issue. It looks like you may be experiencing a font issue on your Mac. Let's have you boot into safe mode, restart and test. This should correct any font issues that you are experiencing.

Try safe mode if your Mac doesn‘t finish starting up

I have the same problem. I find it goes away after a reboot.
