Touch Bar not working

The Touch Bar on my new 2016 15" MacBook pro worked the first day only and now does not work. However, if you touch it, whatever is there will do what it is sup[posed to do. For instance, I often have 5 tabs open Safari. I cannot see the tabs on the touch bar but if I touch the touch bar, it will switch to that tab.

Anyone else having the same problem?

I purchased my MacBook Pro 15inch on 22 March 2017, and now the touch bar is not functioning properly. Once specific example is while imessaging, when I touch the emoticon symbol the bar goes blank and becomes non-responsive.

I have the 13" and mine does the same thing in imessaging. The only way I have found to clear it is to log out or restart. If I go to another program and back the touchbar reappears but when i hit the emoji button it goes black again. However, I can go to imail and click the emoji button and it works as expected.

You have 14 days to return or exchange for one that works, otherwise it is a warranty repair if that is what is called for.
