Flow Transition doesn't work FCP x 10.3.1

I really like the new Flow transition in Final cut pro, but it doesn't always work.

On some of my footage it works well and the transition looks very nice, but on other footage is doesn't seem to work. It freezes the last few frames and de first few frames of the next clip and it just makes it look like a cross dissolve.

I really like it when it works cause it kinda moves/changes into the next clip.

Had anyone had this problem?

I'm working on the new MacBook Pro 15 inch

I've been having the same problem. The flow transition works to correct jump cuts with some footage, but not with others. It makes a jump cut look blurry and terrible, but then with another jump cut it works beautifully. I think the problem is that it only works with certain frame rates or resolutions? I would really like to get it fixed!

Could you give specifications of the media you're seeing having a problem? Would be interesting to see the adjacent frames at the edit point to see what flow has to do.

I believe you are expecting something that this transition was not made for.

The flow transition is meant for a specific situation of a jump cut. It works well only for a short duration, typically less than most transitions.
