I am using an iPhone 7 256 GB with iOS 10.1.1. The capacity of the phone is not shown on the left hand bar of iTunes. However it shows the capacity for all my other devices whose storage is upto 128GB. Do help. Thanking you in advance.

Thanks. Well i'm aware of that. What my question was when u connect your ios device to itunes, the size of the device is visible in a small rectangular box towards the top left side of the window, just below the device name. However the same doesn't show up for the 256 GB iphone. Please have a look in the pic attached. The cacacity is mentioned in my 16GB iPad Air2, but not on my iPhone 7.
i'm using iTunes version 12.5.3.17 on macOS 10.12.1
Try safe mode if your Mac doesn‘t finish starting up

well not only mine MacBook Air. I even tried on my Mac Mini, my dad's iMac and even my friend's Mac Mini... The same result. the capacity simply refuses to show. If anyone using a 256GB variant is facing the same issue, that's what I wanna know. Thanks
