bootcamp windows 10 bluetooth drivers

Apple support gave me a Microsoft number to call: 866 474-4880 that is not valid. Not sure why Microsoft cares and Apple needs to do a better job of providing drives and supporting bootcamp issues other than installation- it sounded like that was going to be the extend of how far the support technician could go!

Simple question, how do I make bluetooth work on my late 2016 mac laptop with latest version of Sierra installed?

MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2016), iOS 10.1.1

ok loaner t. i have tried numerous things to fix my bluetooth issue. everything i can think of or have read

now when i goto my bluetooth radio in device manager i get this error under the events menu as well as under bluetooth enumerator and bluetooth enumerator LE

Device BCMBTBUS\BLUETOOTH\5&1c9f92e2&0&4097 requires further installation.

If you are referring to a 2016 tbMBP and BT/WiFi issues, there are quite a few discussions. There are no fixes which address all the issues. The Broadcom .68 driver from Apple Software Update is the latest available fix.

hey mozef after talking with apple support last night. my ignorance as I have never used a bluetooth mouse before. I had to unpair my mouse from OS X. after rebooting into windows my mouse paired with no issues. idk if you have tried this as of yet but it worked for me.

Are Bootcamp drivers installed? Check Device Manager for any unknown devices (yellow triangle and exclamation mark).

The BC6 drivers can be obtained using either Apple Software Update on Windows or BC Assistant -> Action -> Download...

Although I had the most updated Sierra bootcamp software, I was able to point to the downloaded driver folder for Bluetooth/Broadcom and this time the driver file worked. Not sure why it wasn't automatically downloaded and installed. Thanks for your help!
