Export simplified playlist text

I KNOW I have done this before, but don't remember how. iTunes 12.. I want to export playlists so they appear as they do in iTunes, not with all the extra useless info that using the 'export playlist' feature sends with it, I just want to see song titles and play time. Apple support helped me do this in the past, this time, they're telling me they don't know, don't support it, and being rude about it in not looking into how it can be done. Does anyone know how to do what I'm describing? Thanks

Hi Neil,

Here's something that might do what you want: Instead of exporting, try selecting the list and then File > Print... (or just type Command-P).

Now in the pane that appears, change the "Print:" setting from CD jewel case insert to Song List. You don't have to physically print the resulting document -- you can select Print..., and then PDF, using the drop-down menu either to save the list or to view it in Preview.

Hope this helps!

Select the playlist you want.

iTunes menu View > Show View Options and select the columns you want to see.

Then select all (Command A), copy (Command C) and paste (Command V) into a blank text document (or a spreadsheet).

Doesn’t sound rude at all.

There's only a bazillion things you can do in iTunes. I doubt anyone knows everything.
