How do you compare cells in Numbers?
I want to compare two columns of numbers downloaded from my investment account and have the Payout column shaded red if the trade was a loss, green if it made a profit. I know how to do it by making a third column, putting in a formula, and then using conditional formatting, but it would be best if the Payout column itself were shaded.
Example:
Investment | Payout |
$35.00 | $0.00 |
$35.00 | $0.00 |
$35.00 | $60.90 |
$5.00 | $8.25 |
Is there a way to do this, either in Numbers 2x or 3x?
