Screen Glitch on Booting - Apple Logo

Hi,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FPX59AKC8k

Refer to above video, I have this problem after I got back from service centre. I didn't really notice it but now I figured that it does happen every time I turn on the mac. Warranty expired and I thought of asking here first before I decided to send to service centre again.

My last change was for the staingate issue.

Hi Stuart,

Thanks for your reply.

Before creating the thread, I do have a look on the community to find similar problem like mine but there is nowhere to be found unfortunately.

My problem exist on the "Progress indicator" stage. When the bar is being loaded. Before it proceeds to "User logon", you can see an obvious graphic glitch on the black part of screen. You can see it around 7-8 sec of my uploaded YouTube video.

Thanks,

George

Hey there,

My helpful friend brought my unit to service centre for diagnostic. It appears that it was sort of faulty hardware (which they didn't mention much) and they offer about $500 for the reparation.

Too bad my warranty was valid till August 2016 only. I decided to withdraw from the reparation and compromise it though :(

But till then I don't believe it's kind of hardware issue because it only appear on this part particularly...

Sighs

Thanks

George
