I just purchased my first MacBook and when I log into my etrade account via Safari, the live charts are not loading. Is there a setting I can change to view these in Safari or do I need to switch browsers?

Even though your Mac is new, make sure it's up to date.
Click your Apple menu top left in your screen.
From the drop down menu click App Store. When the App Store opens select Updates from the menu.
I did update when I first powered on, now I have MacOS Sierra 10.12.1.
