I just bought the new imac. while using the garageband ... i found it's different from the old one. How can I change the key of an existing mp3 file in garageband. It does not have any vocal. I just need to change the key from C major to G minor.

After importing the file, click to activate the editor (scissors) in upper right. I was goofing around with it by making a new project with nothing playing in the other tracks. I just wanted to see what my media library file would sound like. I can tell you something changed, because it sounded quite wonky. Anyway, here's what my project looked like.
