I am using 2300 Mah rechargeable AA batteries in my Magic Mouse. I have to rotate them frequently. Can I use 2500 or higher Mah for longer interim? What is the best?

Yes more milliamp hours will provide more power and should last longer.
Examine the batteries closely, they may say that they are 1.5 or 1.2V depending on the battery chemistry and if they are rechargable. Ideally you want 1.5V batteries.

Thanks for your answer. My current batteries are 1.2 volt NiMH rechargeable. I can't find 1.5 volt NiMH AA rechargeable batteries for my Magic Mouse. Do you know of any? If not I'll try 2500 mAh NiMH if you think that will extend my run time.

I am using Energizer 2300 mAh and they last 4 - 6 weeks - I usually put a new pair in when they're down to 20% or so (just so I don't forget).
Think about it mathematically…
2x 2300 = 4600Mah
Upgrading gives you
2x 2500 = 5000Mah
That should be just under 10% extra life. You may notice that that difference, I can't really judge that.
The battery chemistry dictates the voltage. You may need NiCad or Lithium for the 1.5volt cells. I believe either will work but 1.5v cells should remain at a working voltage for longer. I can't see any actual specs from Apple.
