CW app displays "loading" screen forever

I'm trying to use the CW Apple TV app, but it just displays a brief splash screen followed by a "loading" screen with a spinning gear forever. It never loads. The CW Seed Apple TV app works as does the CW iOS app, but not the CW Apple TV app.

I've tried deleting the app, restarting the Apple TV and installing it again, but that makes no difference.

Any ideas what's wrong?
