How do I open a .motn file?

I'm trying to import the example woman.motn file that comes with the Motionize plug-in for AI. This would allow me to add shapes into Motion. Their help files are based on Motion having a File Browser but this is now gone. I have tried dragging it in from the desktop but that doesn't work (it opens it as a blank Motion document). Thanks 🙂

I am the developer of Motionize for AI and Graphic (formerly iDraw). I'm looking into this issue but it seems Apple has replaced the file browser pane with an "import" feature. Unfortunately their new "import" feature does not include support for opening Motion .molo (Motion Object) files. I've submitted a bug with them and am also working on solutions should they not respond.

"xx.motn" denotes a Motion project file that can be opened in Motion. You should be able to just double-click on it to open it into Motion. You can drag it on top of the Motion icon in the Dock. Attempting to drag it into Motion from the Finder (this action replaces the old File Browser) is like importing. I don't think you can import a project file.

You may need to contact the publisher.
