iphone 6s unexpected shutdown, not eligible for battery replacement

Hi,

I'm using my iphone 6s since February 2016. In the last two months I noticed that my phone is keeping turning off. Sometimes even the battery was way more than 20%. Once when battery was 50% left.

Today it shut off when the battery was 32%, it really was frustrating cuz I really needed to call someone at that time, and I had no charger with me : (

I just checked the iPhone 6s Program for Unexpected Shutdown Issues, it turned out my phone is not eligible under this program!!! I was wondering if anyone had the similar problem and were able to solve it.

Thank you!

iPhone 6s, iOS 10.1.1, null

Hi

If your serial number is not eligible according to Apple's serial number checker, as you are experiencing similar issues, I suggest that you still contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider with a view to having your iPhone checked and to establish your available service options:
