Announce Calls Feature

I just want the phone to announce the caller but not play a ringtone, is there a way to turn off the ring feature while keeping the Announce Calls Feature audible?

Sorry, I was remembering people using a silent ringtone. Those can be made or purchased. Try one of the short tones, such as Ding. While that will not completely silence it, it is short and may not interfere with the announcement. The other choice is the silent ringtone I described.

You would probably need to set the ringtone to None. I've never tested, but what happens if you have the device set to Mute? I know you should not get the ringtone, but does it announce the caller?

I checked, the phone doesn't have a None setting for the ringtone and we tried the mute function and it mutes the announce calls feature also. Thanks for the input.
