In Notes for Ipad is there a way to copy chunks of (unprotected) text from a web page directly to Notes?
I am a new to Notes and have yet to succeed with this on the Ipad tho' it is a cinch on the Mac. What am I missing?
Loving the icloud capabilities of Notes for Ipad and Mac.

is it copy paste your issue is or are you missing formatting and images and the likes ?
If you click and hold on a word on the screen, you'll see the iPad highlight the word and give you some selections as to what you can do with the highlighted word. You'll also have a point on each end that you can grab and move around on the screen to adjust the selected area. Once you have everything highlighted the way you want it, you'll be able to click "copy" from the selections in the black box that pops up when you highlight. Once you have it copied to the clipboard, you can then move to where you want to paste it and press and hold the area once the cursor is set where you want it and then click "paste". That's it, that's copy and paste on the iPad.

Must have been a tempory gitch on Ipad as it is now (several hours later) working just fine. Sorry to have bothered everybody.
Glad to hear that you got it working. You didn't waste any time, it's good to know that your problem is solved and not happening anymore. Another cool thing you can do as long as you have your devices all signed into the same Apple ID, you have continuity. You can copy on one device and paste on another as well. This is a feature I use all the time and I love it.
