Scrolling movies siri remote Apple tv 4

I'm having an issue with the Apple tv 4 tvOS 10.1

I've just unboxed the Apple tv 4 witch came with tvOS 9 preinstalled. When i was playing movies trough beamer.app on tv with AirPlay i was able to scroll the time in the movie continuously by swiping the touchpad on the siri remote. Anytime when i was swiping (without pressing) the timeline appeared and i was scrolling with my finger left or right along the whole movie, even if i was not touching the touchpad and repeat the swipe for moving the scroll more and more it was not a problem.

After updating the Apple tv 4 to tvOS 10 from the software update now when i swipe left and right on the touchpad in a movie it just shows a ff 10 seconds to move forward or backwards. I cannot swipe directly to move forward or backward anymore, only if i press the touchpad once and immediately swipe left or right i can scroll / move forward or backward but as soon as i release the finger from the touchpad i cannot scroll anymore left / right when i touch again the touchpad with my finger. So the only way to scroll is to scroll only accordingly with the touch surface witch is very small. I also tried to scroll by keeping pressed the touchpad on the left / right side and it continuously scrolls but it's inconvenient like this, mostly after i could scroll before in tvOS 9 just like i was selecting a text with the three fingers drag on the Apple Magic Trackpad.

Does anyone know how to make the scroll feature again like it was in tvOS 9 and as i explained above here?

I would be pleased to know how to make it back again!

Regards!

I'm not able to swipe many times after pressing pause. After releasing the finger from the touchpad to take position for swiping after reaching the edge of the touchpad the swipe does not function anymore. i have to press the touchpad in order to select the time where movie to skip and after that i take all from beginning "press on touchpad, swipe once to the edge of the touchpad and after releasing the finger to put it back and swipe again no longer works"

After pressing the touchpad for pause i am able to keep the finger on the touch surface and swipe left or right, either way just until i release the finger from the touchpad (as i want to reposition the finger to make another swipe). After releasing nothing works towards the command i just started, i have to make everything from the beginning.

What is wrong? Why should't i be able to swipe for as much or as many times until i reach the seconds, minutes, hours in a movie as i would like to?

I have notting wrong with the option to "first press touchpad to be able to swipe" but as i pressed it i want to continuous swipe until i reach where i want. I'm not able to do this.

It worked before the update to tvOS 10 (in the box came with tvOS 9) really seamless and nice. So i suspect it's nothing with the remote touch as long as it worked and it works fine in the menus.

Any solutions?

Thank you!

When i press the touchpad or trackpad it pauses the movie. I am using beamer.app for streaming the movie to the tv trough Apple TV.

Once the touchpad is pressed it pauses the movie and i am able to scroll on the timeline but online until i release the finger from the touchpad. after releasing the finger from the touchpad to reposition (if i want to scroll more de 2-10 minutes) nothing function anymore. I have to start again, pressing the touchpad starts the movie with the new position, pressing again pause and i am able once again to swipe for scroll. You understand the behavior i explain here about the scroll gestures and how i would expect it to work? i wouldn't expect anything if i didn't knew from the tvOS 9 where it worked like a charm.

I tried restarting, reset to factory settings, it has only 3 hours from opening the box. I tried update remote fw but did now work 4 times pressing play button. never showed up in bluetooth the remote.

I'll try with anoter remote from other Apple TV 4....maybe the remote has something but on tvOS 9 it wasn't problem.

Thank you for your time.

If anybody experience the same problem like me here, please let me know.
