Macbook not showing battery time remaining

Hello everyone,

I've had my Macbook Pro 13" late 2013 for three years now and last week, the "battery time left" indicator in my menu bar suddenly disappeared. I can still see the percentage, but when I click on the battery icon, it only says "Power Source: Battery" instead of the battery time that's left. I've tried recalibrating the battery, resetting the SMC and I am on MacOS 10.12.2 Beta. When I charge my battery, the dropdown menu after clicking the battery icon will show how much time is left until my Macbook is fully charged, but after unplugging it, the remaining time will not show up. The only way to see my remaining time is by opening Activity Monitor > Energy. In a small box there, I can see the time.

Does anyone know how I can get my Macbook back to showing me the remaining battery time when clicking the battery icon in the menu bar?
