Yamaha DGX 650

I am trying to connect my new Yamaha DGX-650 digital piano to use as a MIDI Keyboard for GarageBand, using the USB To Host port. My Mac simply wont detect it. I have an iMac with 4k Retina Display on El Capitan 10.11.6. I have installed all the drivers and still nothing. My PSR-E433 keyboard works fine, didn't even need to install drivers, but the new Piano simply will not work. It is supposed to but it will not connect.
