Ipod nano 3rd gen 2 beeps and White screen

HI! I tried using my ipod nano 3rd gen after 4 years. I tried charging it but all i can see is a white screen and 2 beeps. I also tried restoring it but nothing happenrd. I also tried the hold select and play/menu button but also i just got nothing but white screen. HELP
