why does my bluetooth and wifi have similar mac address

I have similar wifi and Bluetooth MAC address and would like an option to change them is that possible,

There's nothing wrong with them being similar. And no there is no way to change them.


Wi-if and Bluetooth addresses (also known as MAC addresses for network adapters) are assigned by the manufacturer to be unique for every device so it can be identified on a network uniquely. They are likely similar because they are assigned at the same time during manufacturing. So they get assigned consecutively and as such get the next available number.


Changing them would defeat this purpose, and there is no reason to change them really.
