Why can't I set resolution lower than 3200x1800?

Hi friends,

I recently installed Windows 10 with Boot Camp on my 27" 5K iMac (late 2015), mainly to be able to play some good games. I've installed all the latest drivers so the screen looks beautiful in Windows with a 5120 x 2880 resolution. I figured most games are not going to work smoothly in this resolution, so I was hoping to play them with high details on 1440p or at least 1080p. The problem is that I can't seem to set my resolution lower than 3200 x 1800, so it's still not giving me the smooth gameplay that I would like. Gameplay should be smooth considering the hardware:

  • 512 GB SSD
  • 5 TB USB 3.0 external HDD
  • Intel Core i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00 GHz
  • 32 GB RAM
  • AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4GB

I've attached screenshots below of my resolution issues taken from Windows display options and from one of my games.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was actually able to solve it somehow. I uninstalled the old driver, which I had previously done but wanted to give it one more try, and all of a sudden I can now change my resolution from way below 1080p all the way up to 5k. Thank you so much for the help, I appreciate your time.
