Mac PRO 5,1 Apple hardware test MISSING

I have had this problem for awhile, apple support has been pretty useless in aiding me as everyone i speak to on the phone seems to know less about this issue than i do myself, which is super frustrating.

APPLE HARDWARE TEST FILES ARE COMPLETELY GONE.

i need to find a way to reinstall the apple hardware test, i have a mac pro 5,1. it was shipped in june 2012, it came with os X lion.

I've installed pacifist, i cannot find CPU_AHT or even CPUHELPFILES. (research has shown this is the solution to my issue)

i have done all provided troubleshooting options apple support gave me (the usual crap they tell everyone to do when they don't know what they're talking about)

Please help ASAP. i would like to run this hardware test to determine if there is any damage to my parts after a pretty serious tumblr it took while being moved (luckily in the original, massive foam padded box)

Mac Pro (Mid 2012), macOS Sierra (10.12.1)

Although I've not tried the link to see if it works, from a website where several

versions of older Apple Hardware Tests are archived, this was among others:

MacPro5,1 Mac-F221BEC8 (this is a .dmg image file -- see more info below)

Read the following site to see if the additional info there may be required to be

able to use this information. There is a bit of other stuff there, that may apply.

Link to site where archives are located has some helpful info on how to use it.

•GitHub - AppleHardwareTest - Download links:

https://github.com/upekkha/AppleHardwareTest

Above says you have options on how to use these tests.

Main topic for intel-based pre- June 2013 Mac hardware tests:

•Using Apple Hardware Test - Apple Support

Later models, after 06/2013 use Apple Diagnostics with different instructions.

•Using Apple Diagnostics - Apple Support

Hopefully this may help your troubleshooting issues, to resolve the problem.

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂
