iPhone 5s screen glitching at full brightness?

About 4 months ago I bought a iPhone 5s and cracked the top left of the screen by dropping it from a foot at the most above the ground and haven't had problems until a few weeks ago, I then noticed that when I turn the brightness all the way up, these multi coloured vertical lines appear covering the whole screen and then doesn't work, when I turn it off and wait a bit then the screen works for like 5 seconds until it does the same thing?? Do I need a new phone? New screen? Or is it fixable?

Hi

Apple advises that you should not continue using a damaged iPhone.

As your iPhone was dropped and suffered damage, I suggest that you contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider to arrange for it to be inspected and to establish your available service options, timescale and cost:

Apple's price for a screen repair (if that is all that is required) for iPhone 5s in the US, for example, is currently $129 plus tax and, if required, shipping:

Note that, if you have the screen repaired by anyone other than Apple or an Apple Authorised Service Provider, your iPhone may no longer be eligible for any future service from Apple (including chargeable repair).
