iCloud & KeyChain Mail Password Issue

why wont icloud/keychain save my 8 gmail accounts passwords in my mail account? Every time I try to restore a new iPhone from my iCloud account with keychain setup and active I end up, after a restore, with a bunch of 8+ popups saying the mail app cant access my mail because of missing password x8 (the only password that it does restore is the iCloud mail account since that's the iCloud login anyway)

i have to sit there and hit cancel 8 times cuz keychain didnt restore passwords in the mail app, and on my other phone I have 12 email accounts I monitor for work and it's a disaster having to add email passwords every time while having to wait 20 seconds for each email missing password error message to pop up and about 2 seconds each error message to sit there and hit cancel (after 15 mins it automatically tries to check email for new messages and activates the password requests due to missing passwords)

My primary concern is this:!!

1) can iCloud and or Keychain save and restore my mail accounts and their passwords (gmail, yahoo, whatever) and restore with password in full, when I use wifi iCloud restore on a new replacement iPhone?

If so, holy Jesus please help! How! ;)

Hi Dethryn,

I understand that after restoring from an iCloud backup, you've been prompted to re-enter the passwords for each of your 8 or more Gmail accounts. I know that it's nice to restore a backup and not have to perform any additional steps, so I'm happy to help.

When restoring from an iCloud backup, it should also restore the data for your apps, including passwords. In addition, you can set up iCloud Keychain to track this information for you. To use the data in iCloud Keychain, you must follow the prompts when restoring your iPhone.

Note that in either case, if your Gmail account uses two-step or two-factor authentication, any account authorizations or app-specific passwords may no longer be valid upon restoring this information.

I just tried again and the passwords were not restored again.... I do not use 2 step authentication on any of my emails but I still end up without my passwords restored in my email account

The rest of the passwords on like websites seem to get restored but the gmail accounts do not, all emails except iCloud are restored without password and I have to sit there and enter them one by one every time I restore

Please help :( Im very computer savvy but the **** thing just doesn't work even tho key chain is on and I know the password :/
