iOS 10.2 TV app - Delete Downloaded Movies

Just updated my iPhone and iPad Pro to the latest iOS version, which removed that Videos app and replaced it with the TV app. I download movies directly to my iPad so that it doesn't use space on my Mac. The problem is that now I don't see any way to REMOVE movies that I've previously downloaded. Or am I missing something?

You may remove them from Settings | General | Storage | Magane Storage, click TV. Or if you use iTunes to sync videos to ipad/iphone, you can control the syncing videos there.

But I found another problem. ON my ipad, when wifi on, the ios 10.2 tv app does not show any home videos. I have to turn wifi off (offline) to watch them! Apple, what are you doing???

I had a similar problem. Except I couldn't see any of my Home Videos while offline. Apparently syncing after the update moved all my home videos (in iTunes) to the Movies folder. Here's how I fixed it. Fixed!. It does take a little drudge work. In iTunes open Movies or Home Videos (depending on where the videos were before). Switch to List view. In the left most column you will see an exclamation point by the missing videos. Double click on that video. You will get a dialog saying the video can't be found. Click the Locate button. Then navigate to the (in my case) Movies folder. Navigate to the video in question and double click it. Another dialog will come up asking if you want iTunes to look in that location for other missing videos. Click Cancel. (Each video is in it's own folder. It will mess up even more locations if you click OK.) The video will start to play. So X out. Do this for every video that's missing. (That's the drudge part.) Now re-sync. All your videos will be restored to your device. (In Home Videos.)

IT is dumbfounding to me that each Apple IOS update gets worse! Instead of being able to delete a movie or video in two steps in the video app, which is now an archaic TV app, you must take about 7 steps and follow the directions listed and go to settings and storage and click on TV and the click on edit and remember which videos you want to delete then get rid of them. Now remember to delete them in iTunes before you synch or that outdated app will put them right back on your iPad. Oh, it's a mess to try and get iPad to recognize your home video apps when you first upgrade. You have to download a trailer or a tiny video from the iStore to trick the apple library into seeing your home video library, what a joke Apple!

Apple, come on, it's almost 2017, get with it and streamline your outdated, cumbersome new IOS 10.2 OS, and please stop making your IOS worse with each update. Your going to drive away customers! I already switched smartphones and went with a Samsung smartphone running Android.
