I have read about reported problems with battery life on the new MacBook pros but mine seems a bit different. Mine seems to drain battery while sleeping. On my old MacBook Pro I could put it to sleep overnight and it would use minimal battery. With this one on 100% charge when I wake it in the morning I'm sitting at about 70% remaining. I do not have power nap enabled, any ideas?
MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Sierra (10.12.2)
For me I had to unplug ALL USB-C adapters, even if nothing was attached to them.
I tested USB-C to ethernet and USB-C to mini-Displayport.
Either one will cause the drain.
I have not tested my USB-C to USB 3.0.
Drained 30-35% overnight with ANY single adapter attached.
After pulling the adapters 2% loss overnight.
After reading this thread I'm going to repeat my tests.

I'm curious: Did 10.12.4 fix the problem for you? For me, the problem appeared with the 10.12.5 update last week. The log showed that my machine was waking roughly every minute. Turning off Find My Mac stopped that, but as others have noted it is an imperfect solution. I have a 15" 2016 MPB, purchased in mid-April. I had no problem with the battery draining while sleeping until the 10.12.5 update.
This is still a problem as of 10.13.2. I was losing around 18% battery per day of standby on my 2016 15" MBP. I disabled Find My Mac and sleep battery use went down to 3% over 19 hours, only waking up a few times instead of every 2 hours.
I have the same problem too. MBP Touch late 2017
Same diagnosis, close everything, disconnect everything.
Have just disabled Find my Mac to see if that fixes it.

I didn't notice this before but I can't even put the computer to sleep manually. It's greyed out.
I'm experiencing the same issue but mine will drain to as low as 60% some nights. I also ensured that I have power nap turned off, all applications closed and all dongles removed. I noticed that some of the dongles get hot while just being connected to the laptop (even if they aren't in use). I guess those have some active circuitry that draws power at all times.
I am also seeing about 20-30% battery drain overnight in sleep mode on a Late-2016 15" MBP W/TB. I'd love to hear any suggestions anyone has regarding this.
Thank you for your responses on this. I am going to try and turn off the WIFI before I put my machine to sleep the next couple of nights. Let's see what happens.

Under the latest Sierra, I am not able to add "NoMulticastAdvertisements" because the plist does't exist.
What can I do to create the file?
Just wanted to add that disabling "Find my Mac" has completely eliminated my battery drain issues; however, I'd like to have this feature so a better alternative would be preferred.
Hmm Find My Mac was already disabled for me. Still have the problem. I suppose I'll try enabling it and then disabling it, perhaps that will do the trick.
Forgot to say disabling find my mac needs to be done with setting 1 to NoMulticastAdvertisements to achieve zero wake up otherwise it won't have any difference.
10.12.3 was released today and so far I have put my machine twice....both times it actually want to sleep. More testing required but it's promising.
Well I posted too soon. Last night with all apps closed and the wifi off it still didn't sleep. Closed the lid with 99% battery, opened the lid to 79% this morning.
I disabled "Find my Mac" for now and it stopped the annoying wake ups.
I am still looking for a different solution since I want to re-enable Find my Mac.
