if the phone has not been jailbroken there are no reported hacks for iOS at this time that have not been addressed with current updates.
The behavior you describe however hardly needs any hacking on iOS to get information. For a spammer to send links over email or message they only need an email or a phone number or both, and any information you use in social media expect that information to available to anyone.
Tap Settings > Safari then swipe down and tap to Clear History & Website Data then restart your iPhone.
That's not technically a "hack." It 's just how the internet works. You can clear all of your trackable history in settings. Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History and Website Data. For some of us, this is necessary monthly, if not weekly.
What about man-in-the-middle attacks? I've been getting spam and messages based on what I write in private encrypted apps like Whatsapp and Facebook messenger. Also, somebody has been jamming the internet and cellular connections on my phone for months.
neither of those services are encrypted, they are essentially social media data mining packages.
