How can I use Notes on my Apple Watch?

Is there anyway that I can use the Notes application on my watch. I would like to say hey Siri and then create a note that will be retained for future reference

I have had an iPhone since the first generation. I have never used lists. It is a useless app to me. However, I use notes daily. It needs to be added to Apple Watch. It is another massive failure on Apples part that it is not already a part of Apple watch

Third-party apps (with support for Apple Watch) that you may find of interest include, for example:

Drafts (uses iCloud):

Purple Notes (uses iCloud):

Evernote

Hi

watchOS does not currently include support for / compatibility with the Notes app on iPhone.

For shopping lists, for example, you may find it most convenient to use Reminders, which is also now included on Apple Watch.

Items / notes can be added to any given list using Siri (eg "Hey Siri, add <whatever> to my <Groceries> list") and the list can be viewed - and items checked off - on your watch.

A Reminders complication can also be added to some watch faces.

You might want to take a look at Just Press Record in the App store. It is $5 but it works really well and includes a transcription service on the iPhone. From there, you can copy the transcription to the notepad on the iPhone. There might be a way to automate the moving of the transcription from the app to the notepad with IFTTT or Workload but I haven't checked if Just Press Record is supported.
