How to get date and Time on photos?

To use the Markup extension, open the photo in Edit mode.

  • Click "Extensions".
  • If you do not see Markup, click "More" and add it.

The extension will only be available in photos, if you upgraded to macOS 10.12.1 Sierra or newer. in previous system versions, it is only available when you share the photo by mail.

When the extension opens, you can add a textfield from the menu bar and drag it to the place you want and type in any text. You can select different fonts, colors, and text sizes.
