I've encountered a strange issue. When trying to select a paragraph in pages v 6.0.5, the selection simply disappears. Don't know what causing the issue. The issue is only happening in Pages. Any ideas??

Have you updated to macOS Sierra 10.12.2, and retested?
Are you selecting text with an Apple pointing device, a Wacom pointing solution, or another third-party device? If Wacom, there was just another Intuos update recently, and I would recommend that for a macOS Sierra solution.
Are you using a Wacom tablet, but haven't said?
There is an issue with the Wacom driver, go to their website and see if there is an update.
