experiencing issues with music glitching while plugged into a USB port for your car?

I just got a replacement IPhone 6s Plus and I pay for Apple Music. I have a 2014 Toyota Camry and I use my USB to listen to my music. Since I got this phone, when plugging the phone up to my USB in my car it's glitching and chopping up my songs while I'm driving. It sounds really bad. The cord I have came from apple so I doubt its the cord, but I've reset and did soft resets on my phone and still having issues with my phone playing music clearly like my 6plus was doing. Is anyone else having any issues with their music being choppy while being plugged into their car? What else can be done to fix this problem so I can listen to my music with good quality?

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities! I see from your post that your are experiencing poor music playback while your iPhone is connected to your car via USB. Having a great listening experience with your iPhone while traveling is very important, and I want to do all that I can to help you.

We have a great resource with some good steps called: Get help connecting your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with your car stereo

Take a look at this section:

If you're using USB Playback

  1. Restart your iOS device and your car.
  2. Connect your iOS device to a different stereo USB port (if you have one).
  3. Try a different Lightning to USB cable.
  4. Update your iOS device.
  5. Install any firmware updates for your car stereo.

Try playing audio from a different app. If you can't play audio from a third-party app, contact the app developer for help. If you can't play audio from an Apple app, contact Apple Support.



Try the steps listed here and let us know if this addresses your issue.
