Cannot sync outlook 2010 calendar with iphone se calendar through icloud

I've tried all the tips that I've found online and nothing has worked. I signed out of icloud on my pc and closed outlook, restarted my pc and iphone se. After that all my appointments that I inputted in my iphone calendar transferred to my outlook calendar. However, now when I input a new appointment through my iphone or outlook on my pc, the appointment will not show up on the other device.

Is anyone else having this issue that can help me?

Thanks in advance.

Hello derrickfromhannon,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to sync Calendar events between Outlook 2010 on your Windows PC and the Calendar app on your iPhone like you were able to before. Based on that, I recommend following these steps from an Apple resource on your issue:

Make sure that the iCloud Outlook Add-in is on

The iCloud Outlook Add-in transfers your content between iCloud and Outlook. Follow these steps to turn on the Add-in:

In Outlook 2010 and later:

  1. Select the File menu.
  2. Click Options in the left panel.
  3. Click Add-ins in the left panel of the Outlook Options window.
  4. Look at the list of add-ins in the Active Application Add-ins section.
  5. Select the iCloud Outlook Add-in.

Thanks for replying, derrickfromhannon, and that additional info, it really helps! We would want to make sure you have followed all other the relevant steps from the article mentioned before, Get help using Outlook with iCloud for Windows , and these specific steps:

Make sure that iCloud isn’t your default account in Data Files

When iCloud is set as your default account in Data Files, your data won't sync between your devices.

Outlook 2010 and later:

  1. Select File > Info > Account Settings > Data Files.
  2. If iCloud is listed as the default account in the Comments column, select a different account.
  3. Click Set as Default.

Outlook 2007:

  1. Select File > Data File Management > Data Files.
  2. If iCloud is listed as the default account in the Comments column, select a different account.
  3. Click Set as Default.

Restart your computer

Turn your computer off and back on.

If your issue is still not resolved, your next step is to contact Apple for further assistance troubleshooting and to help resolve your syncing issue.
